Daryl Devonish has devoted his career to teaching youth how to build healthy habits through sports and recreation. Having grown-up playing AAA ice hockey with the Toronto St. Michael's Majors, Devonish understands the impact of team sports on adolescent development. With over 25 years of teaching experience from the middle school to the University level - instructing Kinesiology at Devonish has worked to understand and relate to the youth of all ages.
He is currently both Assistant Coach as well as Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Toronto Red Wings '09 team and has been instrumental in developing off-season training programs for teams including but not limited to: Oakville Rangers, Don Mills Flyers, Ted Reeve Thunder, Leaside Flames, Leaside Wildcats and the Pickering/Ajax Raiders.
Devonish has also trained professional hockey players including Eric Lindros, Tyler Toffoli, Josh Ho-Sang and Reilly Smith, having owned and operated fitness facilities across the GTA that offer dynamic services such as one-on-one and group training sessions. Devonish is passionate about the role of fitness in day-to-day life and is dedicated to creating a safe, fun environment for kids to develop and improve their off-ice skills to enhance their on-ice game.
