A natural leader and motivator, Derrell Levy helps youth, elite athletes and adults, reach their true potential. His extensive experience and knowledge stem from a lifetime in athletics, including winning the NCAA National Hockey Championship in 2007 with Oswego State University and playing several years of Minor Pro Hockey with teams such as the Syracuse Crunch, Pensacola Ice Flyers, and Michigan Blizzards. CBC took note of Levy’s impressive work ethic and mindset, as an adolescent featuring him in the inaugural season of its documentary series Making the Cut (2004). Following the series, Levy was granted with the Reader’s Digest Award.
As the end of his playing career neared, Levy quickly realized his calling - to lead and motivate - imparting the knowledge he’s gained having been mentored and inspired by some of the top coaches around the world. With a background in - Wellness Management Degree, a minor in Health Science and Coaching, as well as NSCA, CSCS, and PT Certifications,Levy brings more than a decade of on-ice coaching, alongside nearly a decade of strength and conditioning experience; having created programs for nationally ranked basketball and hockey teams, as well as athletes in the NHL, OHL, AHL, and CFL.
Levy’s compassion and ability to mentor both in the gym and in life has allowed his
company, In-Tech, to grow into much more than simply a training facility. He has created a culture and environment that provides elite athletes, youth, and adult fitness enthusiasts alike, the support, resources, and inspiration they need to reach their true potential.
